Kit Base Data

The Kit data is visible and editable from different tabs within the Kit Definition window. It has been separated into logical sections for ease of use.
Kit Base Data
#
Kit base data comprises of:
The Kit ID number is a text field of up to 30 characters.
The Kit description is a text field of up to 50 characters.
An issue number can be assigned to indicate the Kit status, and the “View Image” check box is active if the Kit has been associated to an image file.
Part Information
#
This allows part information to be specified as required.
The following can be specified:
NC Program
The Part Number to be machined
A Part issue number if required.
Kit Build List
#
The contents of Kits are defined and maintained from the build list tab.
For each element within the Kit, the following data is stored:
Unit ID
Description
Quantity required for the Kit
Whether the Item must be issued from the new location, or whether it can be issued from either new or used,
X and Z offsets, if relevant,
The tool position in the carousel,
Measurement rule – if applicable.
Kit Support Data
#
This screen allows the user to associate extra information to the specified Kit.
A graphics file can be associated to the Kit to provide additional information or assistance.
A text file can be associated to the Kit to provide additional information or assistance.
A text area within ATMS allows extra information to be added and associated to the Kit.
