C – Build and Dismantle

Build #


From the Stores Activity screen, select the Build Assembly icon.

If the unit id is known, type it into the unit id text box and press <Enter>. If the number is not known, then either enter a partial number then select from the drop down box, or use the ATMS search routine.

Enter the quantity to build and store in the new / used location.

Press the “Go” button. Providing that there are sufficient Items available to be built into the Assembly, ATMS should return confirmation that the Assembly has been built, and then update the quantity in the relevant location on screen.

If there are any shortages, then ATMS will report the fact using the build analysis form.

NOTE:
The user can continue to build an Assembly, with shortages, but ATMS will assume that the “built” Assembly is complete. I.e. The shortage has been overcome by obtaining the required Item(s) from another POI – vending machine or stores.

Dismantle #


From the Stores Activity screen, select the Build Assembly icon.

Enter the unit id.

The default condition is for ATMS to dismantle from location 1. If this is not the desired location, then select the relevant radio button.

Enter the quantity to be dismantled, and press the “Go” icon.

ATMS returns the Items making up the Assembly and replaces them into the specified location.
